             abstract = "Tsuji and his partners worked for more than 20 years on 
                         cylindrical burners. Their experiments aimed, notably, to 
                         determine the influence of the strain rate on the flame stability. 
                         The present work endeavors to analyze a similar problem but 
                         considering two parallel uniform flows in opposite directions, 
                         axially orthogonal to the burner - suggestively called double 
                         Tsuji problem. The objective is to propose a simplified model to 
                         estimate the flame length and width. In this analysis, the 
                         parameter N / S Peb= p Pec is found to represent universally the 
                         flame length for conditions which lead to N 1, meanwhile the flame 
                         width is described universally by Pe\􀀀1=2 c . Because 
                         the geometrical factor imposed by the burner is not expressed in 
                         the parameter N, which is relevant for approximately N < 10, the 
                         flame length is not correctly described by N in this interval.",
